The Course
An 8-week course in English focused on actors and advanced drama students who want to participate in English projects. The number of English language productions has increased in the past years, so it’s time to improve your level! This practical course will help you to improve your English and gain the necessary confidence to act in front of the camera.
Syllabus: - Selected scenes based on the student’s profile and level of English. - Specific focus on English diction. - Presentation and interview skills in English. - Improvised exercises in English. - Guests: English casting directors, actors, managers… - Online access to all the recorded material sent weekly. NOTE: PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS COURSE IS TAUGHT ENTIRELY IN ENGLISH. Luci Lenox
Luci Lenox is a casting director who has worked in the film industry for the last fifteen years between Barcelona, Spain and the UK. Her specialities are International productions shooting in Spain and European co-productions but she also enjoys working with first time filmmakers. She has worked on many highly successful projects which include the feature films 'Perfume' directed by Tom Tykwer, Woody Allen's 'Vicky, Cristina, Barcelona' and Mabrouk el Mechri's 'Cold Light of Day' and Larry Charles' "The Dictator" among others. She has worked for some of the world's leading production companies including Constantine, Filmax, MediaPro, Disney, Summit, Intrepid, and Kanzaman. She started ICE Casting with Pep Armengol in 2005. As a team Luci and Pep are passionate perfectionists who pride themselves on attention to detail. He is a Film Producer and well known Casting Director who has been working in Film and Television production for over 20 years. He has cast many feature films including "Rise of The Footsoldier", "A Lonely Place To Die" and "The Kid", starring Rupert Friend and Ioan Gruffudd. He has worked with award winning directors such as Michael Winterbottom, Woody Allen, Anthony Minguella and Paul Verheoven. His recent work includes casting the feature film "The Wee Man" starring Martin Compston and John Hannah. Steve also produced "Boogie Woogie" starring Heather Graham, Gillian Anderson, Christopher Lee and Joanna Lumley. American productions include "American Cowslip" starring Val Kilmer, Peter Falk and Diana Ladd. He has also cast many TV commercials and music videos. IMDB page |
