Day 1
Quick chat round to see what problems have come up and what tips we can find to help… Looking at specific challenges: increasing ammunition for emotional scenes (including muscle memory), working in difficult circumstances (like your close-up at the end of the day) or with ungenerous partners. Let’s look at what we mean by ‘type’ and deal with doing roles that are out of your comfort zone, long reaction shots and generally play around with anything the group brings up.
Day 2 Warm ups. Scenes will have already have been given to you: Today we will film the master shots of all the scenes. (Possible playback). Day 3 We’ll go back to the scenes & do the close-ups, reaction shots etc. Playback of all remaining scenes and pick-ups of anything we want to try. Mel Churcher
